Sunny designed a bungalow residential house for a Catholic priest that will serve as his retirement home. The client comes from a prominent family and holds a high position in the family business of hospital chains in Pampanga. Hence, the new home will be a venue for entertaining VIP guests and family gatherings.

The design concept is based on the “House of Zion”, a fortress built in God's grace, that will never be shaken, and light will always shine upon its walls. Its key feature is an “indoor-outdoor” design to connect indoors to the natural surroundings through full-height windows, natural finishes, and high-ceiling treatment. Maximum comfort and safety is considered through non-slip tiles, curved edges, and cushioned seating. Wider hallways are implemented for spaces for circulation and a holding & gathering space is allocated for in-house mass. The overall design is the perfect combination of solemnity and grandeur.
