This was Sunny’s first styling project with the Grumpy Joe brand with an Interior Styling package. Although we came in late in the construction phase, we still managed to translate the Client’s design vision through a masterful curation of furnishings, lighting, and accessories. With a “Downtown Savannah” design concept, natural materials such as wood and Solihiya accentuated with warm-toned colors create a warm yet lush environment for diners to enjoy.

Through experiential design, we wanted to reflect the brand’s picture-perfect interiors through functional spaces that create unique dining experiences. We took advantage of the large floor area to incorporate feature walls that also signify the different Instagramable spots where guests could enjoy their meals. 

Sunny can help businesses like Grumpy Joe attract more clients through a carefully curated furniture layout that enhances the overall customer experience. By creating distinct zones, the design ensures efficient regulation of foot traffic, making it easy for guests to move around and find their preferred seating. Large communal tables foster a welcoming atmosphere for bigger groups, while modular dining tables, lounges, and cozy booth seating provide smaller groups with a more intimate setting. Most importantly, the ease of mobility and maintenance were ensured in the production and manufacturing of the furniture pieces with the help of Arksmith.
